Singapore Airport Budget Terminal Security
Note: The Budget Terminal is scheduled to close on 25 September 2012. Airlines using the terminal will be moved to Terminal 2 while a new Budget Terminal is built, expected to be completed in 2017.
Security at the Budget Terminal is tight, but unobtrusive. Most of the security measures take place behind the scenes. Passengers will need to pass through only a single security scan to access their departure gate. Note that the international liquids, aerosols and gels rule applies to this airport.
When passing through the security scan to get into the gate, you will need to remove your "LAG bag" from your carry-on, as well as your notebook computer. Removing watches and jewelry is also advisable, but you can keep your belt and shoes on.
