Distance to City: 15 km
Passenger Service Charge

  International: None

Kuntan's tiny airport generally sees no more than three or four flights a day, but the airport is important, as it's the gateway to the beach resorts at Cherating, a few kilometers north of Kuantan. The city also has it's own beach resort area, which sports a rather unlikely Hyatt Regency.

The airport is all on one level, with no skybridges. Check-in counters are near the center of the terminal, with baggage claim on one side and the departure lounge on the other. Planes park on the tarmac and passengers walk directly into baggage claim.

There are facilities for international flights, but currently there are no scheduled international routes.
