Hat Yai International Airport

 
Hat Yai is a rather busy commercial center, so there is a surprising amount of traffic between the deep southern city and Bangkok. There are well over a dozen flights a day between the Thai capital and Hat Yai, as well as daily flights from Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.

The terminal building is on two levels. Check-in and baggage claim are side-by-side on the first floor; departures are on the second. Note that domestic and international check-in areas are on either end of the building, with arrivals in the middle.
