Singapore Changi Budget Terminal Arrivals

Note: The Budget Terminal is scheduled to close on 25 September 2012. Airlines using the terminal will be moved to Terminal 2 while a new Budget Terminal is built, expected to be completed in 2017.

There are no sky bridges at the budget terminal. Arriving passengers exit from the plane onto the tarmac, and walk to the terminal building, where they are directed upstairs to a long corridor leading to the arrival hall.

Follow the signs to immigration and baggage claim, which are downstairs. You pass through immigration first, then on to baggage claim. Depending on where your flight originates, you may be asked to go through a security screening to get to immigration.

After getting your bags, you exit through customs into the public arrival hall.

The public arrivals hall is rather sedate. The taxi queue as well as a bus to Terminal 2 are just outside the door. There is a money exchange, ATM machine and snack bar in the arrivals hall.
