Tioman airport is just about the smallest scheduled airline airport that you could imagine. The airport is only served by Berjaya Air, which flies there from Subang Airport in Kuala Lumpur and Seletar Airport in Singapore.

The airport is tightly wedged between the mountains and the ocean on the resort island of Tioman. It is in the village of Tekek, at about the middle of the west coast of the island, which is also where most of the accommodations are located.

There are almost no facilities at the airport. If you're on the flight to Singapore, there is a small duty free shop available, before you go into the departure lounge. There is also a counter where you can purchase drinks and snacks. There are no lounges.

Due to the lack of facilities, you might consider arriving at the airport no more than two hours or so before your flight. Also be very careful to check your departure time with Berjaya within a few days of your flight. They have been known to change departure times without telling anyone.
