Singapore Airport Departures
Leaving Singapore through Changi is quite easy. The hardest part may be showing up at the right terminal, although most taxi drivers know which airlines fly from which terminals. The main problem is Singapore Airlines, which uses both Terminal 2 and 3. The rule of thumb seems to be: short-haul flights to Southeast Asian destinations use Terminal 2, while long haul flights go out of Terminal 3. The displays throughout the airport show departures by terminal, so it can be easy enough to find the right one once you're inside, and automated shuttles take you quickly between all the terminals.

After check-in, you can proceed through immigration and into the lifestyle shopping palace that is Changi airport. There is no departure tax.
