Budget Terminal - Changi International Airport
Note: The Budget Terminal is scheduled to close on 25 September 2012. Airlines using the terminal will be moved to Terminal 2 while a new Budget Terminal is built, expected to be completed in 2017.

Singapore's own terminal for budget airlines was opened in 2006. It is currently used by Tiger Airways, Cebu Pacific and Firefly. Other low cost airlines such as Jet Star use the main terminals.
The budget terminal is located south of Terminal 2 and is reached by a free shuttle bus from the basement level of Terminal 2. Although the terminal itself is somewhat spartan, it does have a good range of facilities and is comfortable enough for a couple of hours.
The building is a large sprawling affair laid out almost entirely on a single level, with the departures and arrivals halls set side-by-side.
