Phnom Penh Airport Security

With it's small size and general lack of long haul flights, security at Pochentong International Airport is not overly elaborate:

• Departing passengers need to have their ticket and passport available to be checked by a guard before they can enter the terminal building. Only ticketed passengers can enter the check-in area.
• A single security scan is performed after you pass through passport control and before you access the departure area. You can generally keep your belt and shoes on, but they will hand-scan you iff you set off the machine. As yet, there are no restrictions on liquids, gels, and aerosols.
