Shopping & Eating at Chiang Rai Airport

There isn't much shopping to be had at Chiang Rai airport, although there is a seemingly disproportionate amount of food. There are a couple of local craft shops as well as a number of stalls selling local produce such as nuts, dried fruit and even the local fermented pork sausage.

For food, in the public areas, there's just ice cream and two coffee shops on the ground floor, as well as a large restaurant and another coffee stand on the second floor. Inside the domestic departure lounge there's a snack bar as well as more stalls selling local crafts and snacks.
