Security at Kuantan Airport

Departing passengers will face the following security procedures:

• All passengers go through a security screening to access the check-in counters. Your bags will be scanned and you will go through a cursory metal detection. There is no need to remove any items from your bags or your person.
• You must go through a second security screening to gain access to the departure lounge. This screening is as lax as the first. Liquid, aerosol and gel rules apply for this airport. Laptops do not need to be removed from your carry-on bag. You do not need to remove your belt or shoes.
