Arriving to Makassar's Hasanuddin Airport

The new terminal at Makassar's airport has six sky-bridges. Most arriving flights will dock at the terminal and use the bridges, although some airlines (notably Merpati) will park on the tarmac.

If your plane docks at the terminal, you will enter the terminal on the second floor. Follow the signs down to baggage claim. Passengers from planes parked on the tarmac will be shuttled directly to baggage claim. After picking up your bags, keep in mind that most airports in Indonesia require you to show your baggage claim ticket when exiting the baggage claim area.
