Departing Phuket International Airport

Check-in for both international and domestic flights is on the second floor of the terminal. You will need to run your bags through a security screening to gain access to the building and get to the check-in counters. After check-in, international passengers will need to go through passport control before gaining access to the lounges at the north end of the main terminal.

Domestic passengers get to their lounges through the security screening at the south end of the terminal building. Note that passengers on Thai and Bangkok Airways will need to have their tickets checked against their passports before going through the security screening. Budget airlines will check your passport at the gate.
