Hat Yai International Airport

Asia-Airports.com - The Unofficial Airports Guide

Shopping & Eating at Hat Yai Airport

For a small airport, there is quite a lot of shopping at Hat Yai airport. The hall stretching from the check-in area to the arrivals area is lined with small shops. However, there isn't much substance here. What's on offer is mostly local snacks and other produce, most of it very low in quality.

Although there are several snack bars, and small fast food outlets such as Dairy Queen and Dunkin Donuts, there is only one restaurant, in a rather minimally fitted out area on the second floor just outside of the departure lounge. The menu is exclusively Thai.

Inside of the departure lounge are some more small shops and snack bars.

Since there are currently only a few international flights out of Hat Yai, no duty free shopping is rather minimal.
