Shopping & Eating at Chiang Mai Airport

There isn't much shopping to be had at Chiang Mai airport, although there is a seemingly disproportionate amount of food. There are a couple of souvenir shops as well as a small pharmacy, but the shop most worth mentioning is the local food shop selling dried lychees, spicy nuts and other local favorites. There are two locations; one near the domestic check-in counters and another in the domestic departure lounge.

For food, in the public areas, there's pizza, ice cream and two coffee shops on the ground floor, as well as a large restaurant on the second floor. Inside the domestic departure lounge there's a snack bar and coffee shop.
