Kuala Lumpur International Airport Arrivals
If arriving on an International flight, the plane will most likely park at the satellite concourse. On exiting the plane, you will need to make your way to the shuttle train connecting the satellite to the main terminal building. When you get off the train, take the escalators down to reach immigration. Passport control is usually quick and efficient. Citizens of North American and most European countries are granted visa-free access for stays of 14 to 30 days. Check out the Malaysian visas page for more information and links.
Baggage claim is a short walk behind immigration. You will pass a few exchanges along the way if you need to change money.
Once you've retrieved your bags, you can pass through customs and into the arrivals hall. Customs is typically not a problem. If you want to use the express train or taxi service, the counters for these are just before you exit the secure area. See the KLIA airport transfers page for more information.
