Airlines Serving Kuala Lumpur International Airport

Malaysia is not quite as well served by international carriers as its neighbors Thailand and Singapore, but it is well-connected within the region and has very good connections to the Gulf and Africa.

The national carrier flies internationally between Kuala Lumpur and major cities around the world. MAS is also the largest domestic air carrier.

Air Asia

Budget Air Asia is one of Malaysia's largest domestic carriers. They are your choice to get to several other tourist spots, such as Langkawi, Penang and Kota Kinabalu. Book well in advance to get the best rates, but be mindful of the checked baggage limits. Also note that all Air Asia flights use the airlines own low-cost carrier terminal.
