Airlines Serving Kuala Lumpur International Airport Low Cost Terminal

The low cost terminal is used mostly by Air Asia (including its subsidiaries from Thailand and Indonesia). Singapore's Tiger Airways also uses the terminal, along with the Philippines Cebu Pacific.

Air Asia

Budget Air Asia is one of Malaysia's largest domestic carriers. They are your choice to get to several other tourist spots, such as Langkawi, Penang and Kota Kinabalu. Book well in advance to get the best rates, but be mindful of the checked baggage limits. Also note that all Air Asia flights use the airlines own low-cost carrier terminal.

Tiger Airways

Probably the largest of Singapore's budget carriers. Destinations include - sometimes on a seasonal basis - Chiang Mai, Phuket, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Danang, Macau and Manila. See my review of Tiger Airways for more information.
