Security at Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Bangkok
Security at Bangkok's new (October 2006) airport is supposed to be state-of-the-art and is therefore largely unobtrusive. Note that the international liquids, aerosols and gels (LAG) rule applies to this airport.
International passengers go through a single security screening at the entrance to each concourse. Laptops and your LAG bag must be removed from your carry-ons, but belts and shoes can remain on.
Domestic passengers go through their single security screening at the entrance to their gate. As with international passengers, laptops and your LAG bag must be removed from your carry-ons, but belts and shoes can remain on.
