Arriving at Luang Prabang International Airport

Due to its small size, arriving at Luang Prabang is fairly easy. If arriving on an international flight, your first stop is the visa-on-arrival if you need a visa. The counters are just inside the door, so don't be surprised if you end up queing outside. Once you have your visa, you proceed directly to the immigration counters to use your visa. Baggage claim is immediatly beyond immigration. There's only one belt, so you won't have any problems finding your bag.

Once you get your bags, hand your customs form to the customs officer on your way out - or just add your form to the pile, if there's no officer about. On exiting the building, if you've arranged for a guide or an airport transfer, this is where they'll be. Otherwise, there's a taxi counter on your right after you have exited the building.
